Tasks and responsibilities:

1. Development and release of wiring systems:
    a. Design and development of wiring systems for vehicles, taking into account the specific requirements and specifications.
    b. Create design documentation, including schematics, harness drawings, and bill of material.
    c. Ensuring compliance with all relevant norms and standards in wiring system development.

2. Project management and coordination:
    a. Coordinate design activities with internal and external stakeholders, including engineering teams, suppliers, and customers.
    b. Monitor and control project progress, including adherence to schedules and budgets.
    c. Conducting regular project status updates and reporting to management.

3. Quality assurance and validation:
     a. Conducting design reviews and ensuring compliance with quality standards.
     b. Collaborate with the testing and validation team to ensure the functionality and reliability of the wiring systems.
     c. Analysis and remediation of design and manufacturing issues.

4. Technical support and problem solving:
     a. Provide technical support to production and other departments in the event of problems with wiring systems.
     b. Conducting failure analysis and implementing corrective actions.
     c. Support in the integration of new technologies and innovations into the wiring systems.

5. Documentation and reporting:
     1. Creation and maintenance of technical documentation and reports.
     2. Ensuring the proper archiving of all relevant documents and data.

Requirements:

1. Education and qualifications:
      a. Completed studies in the field of electrical engineering, automotive engineering, mechatronics or comparable qualification.
      b. Additional qualifications or certificates in the field of wiring systems development are an advantage.

2. Professional experience:
      a. Several years of experience in the development and approval of wiring systems in the automotive industry.
      b. Experience in project management and coordination of development projects.

3. Professional competences:
      a. In-depth knowledge of wiring system architecture and design.
      b. Experience with CAD systems and software for wiring system planning (e.g. CATIA, Capital Harness).
      c. Knowledge of the relevant norms and standards in the automotive industry.

4. Personal skills:
    a. Strong analytical and problem-oriented mindset.
    b. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
    c. High level of initiative and independence.
